3.- According to their purpose:

Flashcookies” or Local Shared Objects (LSO): consists of storing information without cookies on the user’s computer by taking advantage of Adobe Flash Player technology.

e-tags: this is one of the mechanisms of the HTTP protocol that allows the validation of the cache that the user saves in his browser of a website. This technology is mainly used to save bandwidth, avoiding duplicate content downloads. However, it is also possible to use this technology to recognize the user’s browser.

Web bugs or web beacons: also called tracking pixels are usually small images of one pixel by one pixel, generally invisible, which are inserted in a service (web page or e-mail) in order to measure activity and thus obtain a pattern of users. Typically, these are used to perform a web analysis.

HTML5 storage: consists of storing certain parameters in the user’s browser that can be used to identify the user’s browser.

Canvasfingerprinting: is a technique to identify a browser or device.

Source detection: this technique consists of identifying the source configuration of the user’s equipment to obtain a unique identification of the equipment.

WebGL: this technique makes it possible to take advantage of the 3D rendering capabilities of modern browsers to obtain a unique identification of the equipment, due to the different configurations of each one.
